Origin:

In 2019, I became haunted by a recurring question:

When you’re gone, and your life is summed up by those who loved you, will their words align with the person you know yourself to be?

That question pushed me into motion.

After the collapse of a business I devoted myself to, I found myself emotionally and financially depleted, navigating a depression I hadn’t known before. During that time, I turned inward—filling notebooks with drawings made under pressure, lines pressed so deeply they cut through multiple pages.

Over time, those marks began to reveal themselves as scenes, figures, animals, and creatures. Discovering them sparked a sense of recognition and urgency. To understand what I was seeing, I began writing poems alongside the drawings, allowing image and language to inform one another.

My work is an act of alignment. I pour my heart and soul into everything I create, hoping that somewhere, someone encounters it and feels seen—recognizing a part of themselves within it. My practice is guided by the belief that honest expression, when fully committed, leaves behind a truer reflection of who we are.
